Painless Precision Dentistry

Benefits to our patients drive our inclusion of state of the art technology.

We use these tools because they deliver a higher quality experience to the patent, yielding better results with less impact. It is our unwavering commitment to our patients that drives the entire range of technology that we choose to incorporate. The results speak for themselves.

Let's Talk Lasers!

Lares LasersLasers represent the single biggest breakthrough in the dental industry over the entire history of dentistry. Pearl Street Dental has both the water laser by Biolase as well as the new hard and soft tissue laser by Lares. These lasers represent medical breakthroughs for the patient that standard dental tools cannot approach. The benefits include less damage to dental tissues, more predictable results, quicker healing times and a happier, smiling patient.

This translates to:

A Doctor's Dynamic Dual:

In these images you can see some of the main tools we use. The surgical microscope provides unparalleled viewing of dental tissue while the laser provides state-of-the-art treatment. This dynamic duo provides a level of patient care previously unavailable... plus the microscopes can take digital pictures which makes it easier for the patient to understand all treatments.

Bacterial Laser Reduction

This diode laser is used by our hygienist for bacterial reduction prior to any advanced cleaning. Periodontal pockets six to seven millimeters can be treated non surgically this way. A six mm pocket is a serious periodontal problem.

This diode laser sterilizes the pocket and lazes out diseased tissue, usually using topical anesthesia. Often potential periodontal surgery can be avoided using this instrument as a part of our regular hygiene procedures.

Let's Talk Single Tooth Anesthesia!

Nobody likes injections, needles and getting numb. But when it is necessary and it often is (such as removal of old alloys or crowns), we can now use a painless process to numb one tooth at a time. This provides a more comfortable and accurate anesthesia which is the hallmark of minimally invasive dentistry.

We no longer routinely have to numb one entire side of the jaw. This leads to a much shorter recovery time for the patient because we use much less anesthesia.

Compared to traditional injection techniques that typically require anesthetizing an entire mandibular block, causing extensive collateral anesthesia, the STA System’s innovative Dynamic Pressure Sensing (DPS™) Technology lets us achieve immediate onset, deliver painless palatal injections and use fewer indications for multi-quadrant work — all with unparalleled levels of predictability, precision and performance.

Let's Talk Microscopes!

Imagine being able to see and define dental problems like never before. Our microscopes and our techniques are a quantum leap forward over traditional imaging of teeth. Not only do we see better, we have greater control over our tools and are more precise in dental procedures. We can now achieve surgical results that were impossible just a few years ago.

One of our mottos at Pearl Street Dental is: "See better to do better."

This simple concept results in;

Let's face it; the mouth is a small, dark, highly complex environment. Our microscopes allow for high precision in very difficult working conditions.

Digital X-Rays and Digital Panorex X-Rays!

A Panorex digital x-ray is of tremendous diagnostic value. This device provides a much larger, broader view and is superb for imaging wisdom teeth, cysts, sinuses, root tip pathologies, asymmetries and other abnormalities.
